Welcome to Unwind Massage Therapy

I have been interested in the benefits of massage after experiencing trouble with my health, as I suffer with Lymphedema, which causes swelling in my legs due to blockages in my lymphatic system. After doing some research in how I could help myself, I started lymphatic drainage massage. Soon after my first session I became a convert, as I noticed the visible difference in the size of my swelling in my legs after each session, as well giving me a huge emotional release. I now have the personal benefit of understanding how massage and the physical touch is both beneficial, to both our mental and physical health and our overall wellbeing.

My aim is that massage will become part of your wellness routine and will help relieve the stress and strains of modern life, reducing levels of cortisol, relaxing the body and boosting the circulation system.

Massage and communication go hand in hand together so I will listen and understand and work with you. I will put you at ease with my set up which offers a relaxed environment with soft lighting and aromatherapy.

Prior to any massage there is a consultation which can take up to fifteen minutes where we might discuss any medical contradictions, which may prevent a massage, and your massage will be adapted accordingly.
